About our presenter

This workshop will be delivered by Alain Marcuse, Vice President at Stroz Friedberg Security Science. He brings 25 years of experience in Information Technology and Security. Mr. Marcuse will speak about the impact that Cyber Security has on ALL technology professionals and how to prepare yourself. He will also speak about the skill sets necessary to get jobs in this booming as well as how to many the transition from “IT” to “Security”.

Prior to joining Stroz Friedberg, Mr. Marcuse served in a variety of consulting and senior management roles in application development, IT, production network operations, security, and customer service in the U.S. and Europe, including Honeywell, Adero (global content delivery), Individual (now part of Thompson Reuters), KPMG, The Boston Consulting Group, S.W.I.F.T. (global wire transfer network), and Integrity Interactive (global online ethics and compliance training provider, now part of SAI Global).

Mr. Marcuse is currently working with the (ISC)2 in developing a four-year information security curriculum for high school students, intended to lead to the SSCP certification.

Diversity IT Network is a social enterprise and leadership development program that advances the careers of multicultural technology professionals via training in leadership, emotional intelligence, conversational intelligence, as well as peer-to-peer mentorship and career coaching.
